Ellen Pollock will join The New York Times as Business Day editor, effective early next month. She replaces Dean Murphy. Pollock resigned from the top post at Bloomberg Businessweek last November after a year in the role. She previously served as deputy editor since 2007, and prior to that, worked for The Wall Street Journal. Follow NYTimes on Twitter.
