John Dickerson is adding the title of CBS News chief Washington correspondent to his resume. Dickerson is also the anchor for Face the Nation and has been in this role since June 2015. He joined CBS News in April 2009 as an analyst and contributor before becoming political director in November 2011. Steve Chaggaris will be replacing him as CBS News political director. Chaggaris joined CBS in 1999 as an associate producer before leaving and rejoining in May 2012 and served as executive editor for CBSNews.com, and then moved on to become senior political editor for CBS News in October 2014.
