The Wall Street Journal has announced the promotion of longtime staffer Craig Karmin to markets editor. Karmin was previously WSJ’s  deputy markets editor overseeing the commodities, currency and emerging markets teams in New York. He has been with the paper since 1999 and throughout the years has covered emerging markets, foreign exchange, the hotel industry and real estate as a reporter and writer. Follow WSJ on Twitter.
