Okayplayer, the hip-hop community website founded by Questlove, has hired Rachel Hislop as editor in chief.  She will cover not only music, rap and hip-hop, but social justice issues, sports and culture as well; this is new content for the site, which is looking to expand its editorial offerings.  Hislop previously worked for Parkwood Entertainment, a Beyonce-founded management company,  where she was digital content manager.
