Miriam Jordan will join the New York Times as a national immigration correspondent. Jordan has been a senior special writer for the Wall Street Journal in Los Angeles covering national immigration since 1993 having reported in Asia and Latin America, as well as around the United States including Atlanta, Chicago and New York.
