Ana Cabrera has been named prime time weekend anchor of CNN Newsroom, replacing Poppy Harlow who moved to weekdays. Cabrera most recently worked as a correspondent based in Denver and has been there since 2013; she now anchors from New York. Additionally, Edward Meagher has been promoted to weekend programming manager, taking over for Bryan Bell. He begins at the end of this month and will be based in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters.
