Bill Capo has retired from the CBS affiliate WWL-TV based in New Orleans, after 36 years at the station. Capo’s last day was March 3. The veteran reporter had been with the station since 1980, and held the Eyewitness News Action reporter title since 1985. He has covered topics ranging from weather to the 2009 Super Bowl to helping viewers with issues like financial emergencies, help with the government, and advocating for them when they were seeking aid. He most recently had been investigating and reporting on consumer issues including fraud and scams. Follow WWL-TV on Twitter.
