Soyoung Kim has been named Korea bureau chief for Reuters, and will move to Seoul in the spring. She has served as the editor in charge of regulation in Washington since 2015. She previously was the editor in charge for mergers, acquistions, and IPOs for two years prior to that. She has also worked as the M&A correspondent from 2010 until 2013, an auto industry correspondent for two years before that, and joined Reuters as a correspondent in Seoul in 2005.
