Gizmodo has hired Kelly Bourdet as editor in chief of the site. Bourdet replaces Katie Drummond, who was named executive managing editor at Gizmodo Media Group late last year. Bourdet had been the editorial director at Vocativ since October 2016, and prior to that was a senior editor and director of science, tech, and sex there. Gizmodo has also promoted Alex Dickinson to deputy executive managing editor at Gizmodo Media Group, which includes all former Gawker sites. Dickinson had previously served as the deputy editor at Gizmodo. Follow Gizmodo on Twitter.
