Blayne Alexander has been named a correspondent for NBC News Channel in Washington, D.C. She comes to D.C. from Atlanta, where she has served as a multimedia journalist at WXIA-TV since 2011. Prior to that, she was a reporter for WRDW-TV in Augusta and a production assistant at NBC News. Alexander starts her new role in D.C. on Feb. 27, 2017. Follow NBC News on Twitter.
