After more than four years as a senior editor at CNN, veteran journalist Mira Lowe will soon begin a new chapter in her career: Director of the Innovation News Center at the University of Florida. In the new role, Lowe will lead a unique news team of seven news professionals and more than 500 student journalists producing content for both the university’s media outlets and local PBS, NPR, and ESPN affiliates.
