Several staff members are leaving Detroit Free Press.
- Ellen Creager is exiting her role as travel columnist. She joined the newspaper in 1983 as a feature writer. Craeger previously held roles as an editor for the Ann Arbor News and a reporter for Northville Record.
- Mark Stryker has left his position as arts and music reporter. Stryker previously covered several topics including classical music, jazz, and cultural news.
- Sports reporters Mick McCabe and Mike Brudenell have exited the Free Press. The former joined the publication in 1970. The latter joined in 2002.
- Automotive editor Greg Gardner is leaving the newspaper. He has been in the role since 2011, joining the publication as a reporter in 2009. Prior to the Detroit Free Press, Gardner was a writer for Bloomberg News.
