After 30 years as executive editor, Brian Cooper will be stepping down from that position at the Telegraph Herald; he will continue to serve as editorial page editor. Taking over as executive editor in 2017 will be Amy Gilligan. Gilligan has served as managing editor since 2008 and will be the first woman to hold the top editorial role in the publication’s history. Follow the Telegraph Herald on Twitter.
