WBUR-FM has rehired Asma Khalid as a business and technology reporter. She will join the station from NPR after the inauguration in January 2017.

Khalid has been serving as a reporter at NPR since 2015, where she has served as an elections reporter. Prior to that was her first stint at WBUR, serving as a reporter from 2013 until 2015. Before that, she served as a producer for NPR’s Morning Edition for six years. Follow WBUR-FM on Twitter.
