East Alabama’s daily, the Anniston Star, has announced a few changes in leadership. H. Brandt Ayers has stepped down as the newspaper’s publisher after 47 years at the helm. Replacing him is Bob Davis, who will serve as publisher and editor of the publication. Davis was previously associate publisher and editor for The Star. Follow the Anniston Star on Twitter.
