Mike Nelson has been named senior vice president of communications for CBS Television Network. Nelson first joined CBS in 2002 as the head of communications for KCBS-KCAL Los Angeles. In 2006, he moved up to the role of vice president of communications. In Nelson’s new position, he will continue to act as the lead spokesperson for CBS Television’s 29 different stations.
