After a nearly three-year absence, Thomas Drayton will return to WTFX-TV in Philadelphia October 27, this time as the station’s morning anchor alongside Karen Hepp on Good Day Philadelphia from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. Drayton replaces former Good Day Philadelphia co-anchor Chris Murphy, who left the station in early October for San Diego’s FOX 5 Morning News. Drayton had previously anchored the evening news at WTFX from 2008 until 2013, and has also worked in New York, Denver, Sacramento, Anchorage and Colorado Springs. Follow WTFX on Twitter.
