Politico has added both Marie French and David Siders. French has joined Politico as reporter in Albany, N.Y. replacing Scott Waldman who has gone to ClimateWire. She was most recently with the Albany Business Review as a reporter covering government and healthcare. Siders is joining Politico as a reporter in California covering state government and politics alongside Carla Marinucci. He has been a longtime capitol reporter for The Sacramento Bee reporting on Governor Jerry Brown so the beat is one he is very familiar with. Follow Politico on Twitter.
