Jim Witt is retiring from the Forth Worth Star-Telegram at the end of October. Witt is the executive editor and senior vice president of the Star-Telegram. Has been top editor at the paper for 20 years, joining in 1986 as an assistant managing editor. He has been in journalism for more than 40 years. The paper is still searching for a replacement.
