More buyouts at the LA bureau for New York Times as longtime reporter Andrew Pollack, who covered the business and science of biotechnology, has joined those accepting buyouts. Pollack joined the newspaper in 1981, and has covered the biotech industry since 2000. The Los Angeles bureau of the New York Times recently lost four of its eight staffers – three to buyouts and one to the Wall Street Journal. Follow the Times on Twitter.
