The Niagara Gazette and Lockport Union-Sun & Journal has hired Rob Kaiser as executive editor, effective August 29. Kaiser had served as an assistant professor and the director of the journalism program for Canisus College from 2010 until 2014, and has previously worked at The Post-Crescent in Appleton, WI as a senior editor and as the Sundays assistant managing editor at the San Antonio Express-News.
