The Glenwood Springs Post Independent has named Randy Essex as the paper’s publisher; he will retain his duties editor as well. Essex has been the editor of the Post Independent since 2014, and prior to that was a senior editor at The Cincinnati Enquirer. From 2006 until 2011, he was at the Detroit Free Press, which he joined after nearly twenty years at The Des Moines Register. Follow the Glenwood Springs Post Independent on Twitter.
