Frederick “Bro” Krift will take the reins of the Montgomery Advertiser in Alabama as executive editor on August 22. Krift has ample experience as a newsroom leader, most recently as an editor at the Caller-Times in Corpus Christi, Texas, which recently won newspaper of the year and 30 other Texas Associated Press Media Editors awards.
