The Washington Post has announced several new editors, here’s the lowdown:

  • Karen Attiah will fill a newly created global opinion editor position. Attiah joined the paper in June 2014 as a deputy digital editor and producer.
  • T.J. Ortenzi is moving into a new role as Facebook Live editor. He’s been with the paper since January 2011 as a social media producer.
  • Anthony Faiola has been named the new bureau chief overseeing South America and the Carribbean. He will be based in Miami and begin his new role is June 2017. Faiola joined the paper in 1994 and has reported from Berlin, Tokyo, London, and Buenos Aires through the years.
