The Associated Press has named two veteran journalists as key journalists covering the Latin America region- E. Eduardo Castillo and Maeva Bambuck. Castillo has been promoted to deputy news director for production of Latin America coverage. He has been with The AP since 2003 as reporter and editor for Spanish language coverage. Bambuck joins as the planning director for Latin America region from her current role as a Beruit-based video journalist. She has been a video reporter for The AP since 2014, covering the Middle East. They will both be based in Mexico City. Follow along with AP on Twitter.
