Steve Coffman, editor and director of content and audience development at the Jackson Sun in Jackson, Tennessee, recently announced he will leave the paper to join the Wichita Eagle in Kansas as executive editor and vice president of news on August 1. He had been with the Sun since 2006, where he previously worked with current Eagle president and publisher Roy Heatherly. Follow the Eagle on Twitter.
