The Idaho Statesman has named Rhonda Prast as the paper’s new editor and vice president. Prast replaces Vicki Gowler, who retired in March after a decade as the newspaper’s editor. Prast was most recently the assistant managing editor for digital at the Kanasas City Star since 2012, and was previously the projects editor at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
