Ed Woods has announced his resignation at New England Newspapers where he served as CEO and publisher. He’s been with the company 11 years, which includes daily paper The Berkshire Eagle, as well as the weekly papers Brattleboro Reformer, Bennington Banner and The Manchester Journal. Woods first joined the company in 2005 overseeing the Banner and Journal, picked up the Reformer in 2008, was promoted to regional vice president in 2013 and named CEO and regional publisher in 2014.
