Justin Rogers will soon join The Detroit News as a sports reporter. He’ll be covering the Detroit Lions for the paper, and is no stranger to the topic, having covered the Lions for MLive.com since March 2012.

He first joined the MLive sports team in January 2012 as a buzz reporter, and started with MLive in 2005, serving as senior producer. He’ll be replacing Josh Katzenstein, who is leaving for The Times-Picayune. Follow The Detroit News’ sports team on Twitter.
