Anthony Ponce has resigned from WMAQ-TV, with his last day on air set for July 24. Ponce joined the station in 2007 as a general assignment reporter and has also been a weekend morning anchor. Throughout the past nine years, Ponce has worked as the host of the WLS-AM Dan & Anthony Ponce show as well. He leaves to pursue other opportunities outside of TV news reporting.
