Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that the Associated Press reporter Steve Szkotak has passed away. Szkotak was a reporter covering breaking news, the environment and the agriculture industry at the Associated Press bureau in Richmond for 14 years. Before joining the Associated Press, he spent 13 years at the Daily Hampshire Gazette in Massachusetts. He obtained a journalism degree from Syracuse University in 1976.
