Changes are afoot at the top of the Sports Illustrated masthead. Chris Stone has been named editorial director for the Sports Illustrated group, which also includes Golf magazine and Sports Illustrated Kids. Stone has served as managing editor for Sports Illustrated for the past four years. He takes the reins from 26-year Time Inc. veteran Paul Fichtenbaum, who has served as group editor for the three brands. He first joined SI in 1989 as a senior editor, was named managing editor in 2004, and named editorial director for the Sports Illustrated group in 2012. Follow Sports Illustrated on Twitter.
