NBC Nightly News executive producer Pat Burkey and weekend Nightly News executive producer Jamie Kraft have both moved to new roles at MSNBC. Burkey will now lead breaking news and special event programming at MSNBC, while Kraft will join the network as a senior executive producer for Dayside Programming. Burkey had been at his role at the Nightly News since 2011, and had been at NBC News since 2004. Before joining NBC, Kraft had previously served as a producer at CNN and CBS.
