News anchor Lisa Rayam departed WAGA-TV May 27. Rayam joined WAGA-TV in 1994 and recently anchored the noon and 6 p.m. newscasts. In a recent Facebook post, she announced her reason for leaving by stating, “It is all about making a change for my family. I need more time with my awesome children.” Rayam worked with the television station for more than 21 years and after having anchored more than 11,000 newscasts.
