Emily Parkhurst has been named editor in chief at the Puget Sound Business Journal, up from digital managing editor. She replaces Rob Smith, who stepped down from his post last month. Parkhurst joined the publication in 2012 as a staff writer. She previously worked for The Forecaster in Maine.
