HBO’s yet to debut show Vice News has made a number of hires. Jessica Weisberg and Christina Vallice have been named supervising producers. Weisberg was previously a producer and story editor at Page 1 and held editorial role at The New Yorker. Vallice comes to Vice News from NBC Nightly News, where she was an associate producer for six years. The show has also brought on Jason Mojica as the head of international coverage; he was previously the editor in chief at the original Vice News website. Other additions are head of social Dan Fletcher and senior producer for US news Javier Guzman. Fletcher joins Vice after serving as the managing editor at Facebook for a year, and as the director of social media at Bloomberg for the year prior to that. Guzman has worked in a producer role since 2009, including at Fusion Live, Morning Edition and The Takeaway. Follow Vice News on Facebook for more groundbreaking stories from around the world.
