POLITICO welcomed Mark McQuillan, Julia Ioffe, and Michael Vasquez in the past week. McQuillan joins as editor of Pro Financial Services after a 20-year tenure at Bloomberg News, where he served variously as enterprise editor, international finance team leader, and Washington bureau chief. Ioffe will be a contributing writer covering 2016 elections, and previously served as senior editor for the New Republic. Vasquez joins as education editor and was most recently an education reporter for the Miami Herald since July 2009.
