Washington Post veterans Rachel Weiner and Joe Heim are taking on new challenges at the paper. Weiner, whose most recent coverage of Maryland state politics included a hotly contested state senate race, will shift to focus on federal courts in Virginia. Heim, who has served as assignment editor for the enterprise team, moves to the education team to cover K-12 and higher ed.
