The Wall Street Journal‘s European editor Helen Thomas will soon be leaving the paper as she heads to BBC Newsnight as a business editor. Thomas has been The Wall Street Journal’s European editor of the Heard on the Street column since 2013. Before joining the paper, she spent 9 years at the Financial Times, where she served as a mining correspondent, U.S. mergers and acquisitions correspondent and Lex columnist.
