Jose de Jesus Ortiz has joined the St. Louis Post-Dispatch as a sports columnist, replacing Joe Strauss, who passed away in December. Ortiz previously served as a sports reporter at the Houston Chronicle for fifteen years. Prior to that, he was a sports reporter for The Star-Ledger in Newark, New Jersey from 1998 until 2001.
