Newsweek managing editor Kira Bindrim is leaving the magazine to join Quartz, where she will serve as editor for the site’s Talent Lab. Bindrim had been Newsweek’s managing editor since 2013. Before that, she worked at Reuters and Crain’s New York Business. Replacing Bindrim at Newsweek is former Re/code editor in chief Kenneth Li. He had been serving as editor in chief for the site since August 2014, until he stepped down this March. Before joining Re/code, Li worked at Reuters, Financial Times, The New York Daily News and The Industry Standard. For the day’s top news stories, ‘Like’ Newsweek on Facebook.
