Cision Blog regrets to inform its readers that nationally renowned film critic Jim Ridley has passed away. He most recently served as the editor for the Nashville Scene, a role he had held since 2009. Prior to that, he was briefly the paper’s managing editor, and had been a film critic for the publication since 1989. He won first-place awards for art criticism from the Association for Alternative Newsmedia in 2006 and 2010.
