Fernandez fills a position left open by Luis Carlos Vélez, who is moving into a position as news anchor and senior correspondent for the network. Fernandez was most recently CEO of Real Madrid for the Asia Pacific region, based in Beijing, and was president of Univision Studios prior to this.
