Univision Television Network  has hired Chris Peña and promoted Lourdes Torres. Peña has been added as vice president overseeing local media television news. His role involves managing news efforts with network and local news operations, implementing local news editorial guidelines, and developing local Univision station news directors. Peña senior executive producer for weekend news from 2014 until 2016.

Torres has been promoted from vice president of regional news to vice president overseeing political coverage and special projects. She held her previous role since 2013 and joined Univision as director of special projects in 1991. For more updates from Univision, follow on Twitter and YouTube.
