As part of sweeping changes from Tribune Publishing‘s new chairman Michael Ferro, current editors at several of the company’s papers will now also fill the role of publisher. This includes Bruce Dold of the Chicago Tribune, Davan Maharaj of the Los Angeles Times, Jeff Light of The San Diego Union-Tribune, Howard Saltz of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Avido Khahaifa of the Orlando Sentinel, Trif Alatzas of The Baltimore Sun, David Erdman of The Morning Call, Andrew Julien of The Hartford Courant and Marisa Porto of the Daily Press

Tony Hunter, previously publisher of the Chicago Tribune, is now president of national revenue and strategic initiatives for Tribune Publishing. Tim Ryan, who oversaw the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Union Tribune as publisher, will be president of publishing across the company’s properties. The Sun Sentinel’s former publisher Howard Green has retired. Nancy Meyer and Rick Daniels have departed the company as publishers in Orlando and Baltimore, respectively. The Hartford Courant’s Tom Wiley has also left the company, and Digby Solomon is retiring from the Daily Press.
