Jill Petzinger and Elizabeth Winkler have joined Quartz as reporters. Petzinger is based in Berlin and writes mainly for their mobile application. Most recently, Petzinger was an editor for Handelsblatt Global Edition. Before that, she was a deputy editor for That’s Shanghai. Winkler is based in Washington D.C. Previously, she was a speechwriter for the U.S. State Department. She has also contributed to The Economist, Foreign Policy, The Los Angeles Review of Books and The New Republic.
Additionally, Harish Menon joined Quartz as a desk editor for Quartz India. He is based in Mumbai.
