W Online has announced several additions to its editorial team. Ally Betker has been named associate news editor. She comes from WWD, where she severed as a reporter since February 2015. Jun Harada was hired as executive digital director of the publication. He previously served as senior director of audience engagement at Conde Nast Entertainment since September 2014. Stephanie Eckardt joined W as assistant digital editor. She most recently served as an editorial assistant for The Cut at New York Magazine since June 2015.
Additionally, Fan Zhong has been promoted to digital cultural editor. Zhong has been with the magazine since 2010 and most recently served as associate editor. Biel Parklee has also been promoted and now holds the title of digital photo editor. Previously, he served as assistant bookings editor.
