The New York Times has selected not one, but three journalists to join its newsroom for the David Carr Fellowship, named after the columnist who passed suddenly last February. Slate staff writer Amanda Hess will join the NYT Culture section, Deadspin reporter Greg Howard will work with the New York Times Magazine, and John Herrman, a co-editor for The Awl, will contribute to the paper’s Business section. The three recipients were chosen from over 600 applicants and will start with the paper on March 15. Keep up with their work and see special features from the paper on Facebook.
