CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves has been named chairman of CBS, in addition to his current role. He takes over for Sumner M. Redstone, who has been appointed Chairman Emeritus. Redstone has overseen CBS since 2000. Moonves has served as president and CEO of CBS Corp since 2006, first joining the company in 1995 as president of CBS Entertainment.
