Univision Los Angeles affiliate KMEX-TV has made a few on-air changes, as Francisco Ugalde has stepped down from his role as the station’s weekend anchor. He had been hosting weekends at the station for the past 12 years, and will now serve as a the Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino County Bureau reporter. Alejandro Mendoza moves over from the station’s morning program to step into Ugalde’s vacated role. Mendoza had been working on the morning show since April 2012, when he originally joined the station. Follow KMEX-TV on Twitter for the day’s top news stories.
